  • Good place to buy brake pads???

I'm going to be putting new brake pads on my 96 Comp T/A, and have narrowed it down to either Hawk brand or GM Durastop (both of which I found using the search feature believe it or not!). I don't particularly want to buy new rotors or stainless lines right now, but will probably have all four (4) rotors surfaced while I'm at it. Is there anywhere you guys would recommend I look for these brake pads (or anyplace I should stray away from)? Also, does anyone know if the GM Durastops are the same as "AC Delco Durastops" I found somewhere online... or are they different / lesser quality OEM direct replacements?

    Thanks guys.

Go with ceramic pads, they will significantly reduce that annoying black brake dust, while improving pad and rotor wear.

I think tirerack.com sells them, but you can probably get a set at your local automotive parts store.
