after having just had a little snow storm here in the the uk my 93 fourmla has started to light the abs inop lamp. if i pull the abs fuse then put it back in the fault clears up for a few days then comes back any idears guys?

I've heard of the connectors at the hubs getting dirty, and needing to be cleaned up and reseated.
Also, if the 3rd brakelight is burned out the light will come on, but that does not sound like your problem.
You can have your ABS code read and see what it says. -
