HID conversion?

Has anyone changed from the sealed beams to HID lights? I am curious how easy or tough it is, how the end product resulted.

I have seen a few kits from $500 on up, don't want to buy one and have it not be satisfactory.

I think there is a kit available for the older f-bodies from SYLVANIA Xenarc..... that would be the route I'd take.......
