  • brake line trouble

I am replacing a 9 ft.brake line on a 89 pontiac TA from the master cyl. to the back axel. I having two problem first the line is a 1/4" with bubble ends. At 3 stores I was at could only find the bubble ends in mm for imports. Second the the fitting that go's in the master cyl is larger then the line.
I planed the cut the line and replace the master cyl end with the old fitting and use a compression fitting to connect the 5 foot lines. I know there is a flaring tool but is there any tools to create a bubble end.

why are you replacing them??? If you want you might want to go to a shop and ask them if they can't get their hands on it and buy from them...had to do that on my tensioner for my GTA...no store had it...pep boys, advance, autozone...so I went to tires plus and they got it for me...for an extra charge but, hey I got it. Try auto quest, they have a lot other things the chains don't.
