Opti Spark Changing

In changing out the water pump I have taken the advise of others to change out the Opti spark. In looking at what needs to be done, it looks like the pulley on the crake needs to be taken off.

Is this true, Can someone please tell me where to find good instructions about the Opti Spark.

Yes you need to remove the crankshaft pulley but you can leave the crankshaft hub. Just turn it to were it will clear the optispark.
