Brake lights are staying on?

I have a 95' T/A and for some reason the brake lights are staying on? is there a switch or something thats gone bad? It only does it every once in a while, i will just tap the brake pedal until the lights finaly stay off.

Brake light switch. It is located at the top of the brake pedal arm.

It may need adjustment, or replacement.
