I put SVO injectors in my old 93 Indy Pace Car. I got a complete set new on Ebay for $165 for the 24lb injectors. They are a little noisier than stock, but when I had the supercharger, I wanted the extra insurance I would go lean and the 93's had the 22's stock. My O2 readings were always 900-1000 under WOT with the supercharger so no trouble with going lean.

Doc. Give this guy a call and see what price he gives you on the Ac Delco's. Jason Cromer 1-850-243-8826. He may be able to beat Dal's price. BTW He is at Sam-Taylor Buick/GMC in Florida.

Although the various Bosch and Ford SVO injectors may appear to be a problem, because of the way the retainer clip groove is located on the body of the injector, they can be made to work.

When I was running the bolt-on motor, with the NOS dry nitrous kit, I used the Denso 24# injectors from an SVO, and they "fit" without leaking, even though the clip was located differently. I bought the flow matched SVO's from IRS (I think their name has since been changed) for about $210 for the set of 8.

I would suspect that about 2/3 of the replacement injectors on LT1's are some version of the Ford or SVO pintle style injectors.

Thanks Fred for your new imput.
Gee..very expensive stuff... The Ford local dealer sells the SVO fuel injectors for the "modic" price $120 each.
The car has not throw the DTC again..Im going to perform a new "cleaning" procedure at the Ford local dealer (its the one and only automotive dealer here in town, with the right equipment to perform it "by the book" ).
How about the Bosch ones?..Do you recommend to me to install them in my stock engine?
            Thanks again

One other possibility, but it isn't inexpensive.

TPIS will clean and flow match your stock (or any) injectors. The cost is high, $30 per injector, or $240 for the complete set... more than a new set of the SVO's. But, if they find an injector that is "bad" - will not meet the full rated spray requirements, will not meet the flow tolerance compared to the other injectors, has a faulty spray pattern, or a weak solenoid - they will replace it for no extra cost.

I had my stockers done like that at about 35K miles, but didn't notice much of a difference. I had to borrow a spare set for a friend, while I mailed the injectors off to TPIS.
