gear ratio's

I have 3.86, or at least I think thats what it is, in my differential. It is a 4 speed manual, would my car even be able to do 100mph if I hopped up the ring an pinion to a 4.10? I know first gear would be crazy, but I pretty much only do city/ suburb driving, and I want to have some fun with it. just a thought I had

not nearly enough info to answer your post.

and if you have a 3:86 (never heard of it).....a 4:10 is not that far away.
