  • Need help choosing brake pads

hi folks!! It's come time to change the brakes on my car. I was wondering what are the best brake pads for these LS1 cars? I don't feel like spending a bundle at the dealer for new brake pads. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

I'm not really familiar with 4th gen fbody brakes but I use GM Durastops on my Corvette and they are awesome. No squeel, not dust, no problem.

My car is used as a daily driver with 'spirited' weekend driving. -Nothing extreme, perhaps an SCCA event once a year. So, I chose the Hawk HPS compound brake pads. I'm happy with them. They're virtually silent and brake pedal force is reduced by at least 10%.

I use CarboTech Bobcat's. Ok for daily driving and bites hard for SCCA events.
