  • Camaro Value

I'm being a post whore tonight...

I've been hawking the used Camaro market lately. Particularily the 94-97 6 speed ragtop segment of it.

I'm blown away by how prices are climbing on these cars. I just did an autotrader search and it came up with 27 cars, many with high miles. The *average* price is $11,575

if you specify for less than 60K, the selection drops to 6 cars with an average price of $15733.

I wonder what prices will do in the spring when demand peaks.

I bought my 50K mile car for 7,500. I bet I could double my money.

There are quite a few cars out there with less than 5000 miles on them that might skew the results a little.

There was an 02 WS6 with 2500 miles that went for $26k here a couple of weeks ago.

Yeah, i bought my 94 Camaro Z28 with 20K for $9000 last year. It was all stock and the guy stored it every day. He never drove it in the rain or during the winter. He never even washed it with water, just rubbed it with a diaper. The thing still smelt brand new when i bought the 9 year old beauty. It looked like it jsut came off the show room floor!!!
