  • Any chance we could organize a Zaino group purchase?

Getting back into the hobby after a long hiatus (I'll soon be purchasing a 97 WS6), I need some Zaino. I know most guys on this board use it, so I was wondering if we could get a GP going. Ken, if you're still tight with Sal, do you think you could see if he'd be up for it?

if it would be cheaper than the store, then I'm in. Its all I've heard of that crap is how good it is.

Just out of curiosity, how much is Zaino in the store? Compared to other waxes?
    my car:
'86 Caprice Classic. Soon to have a 350 crate motor. Shooting for 300rwhp.

    the project:
check the www for pics, but a '36 Chevy Master Sedan, MII front end, Jaguar IRS, '93 LT1 powerplant with plans for 350rwhp, and many many other goodies

yes, it's polish, not a wax. It's available only by mailorder (internet), not in a store and if you're used to buying waxes from a store, it's probably going to be very expensive to you but it is by far worth every penny.

I used it when I had my 88 GTA and even had it's picture on Zaino's website for a long time but I see they've redesigned the site and removed my pic

I was just going to buy the starter pack, but I figured I'd ask if anyone would be interested in organizing a purchase.

Check out the website and look at the photos of the cars.... amazing!! http://www.zainobros.com

I think the Zaino website has an overview of why they're different then store waxes. I'm sure Ken can chime in here too.

i dont want to go into to what happend on LS1 dot com in case there are some lurkers here from there......its liable to start a flame war. we dont need that.

but they upset sal pretty bad. that i can tell you. he decited not to do gp's after that. that was going on two years ago.
