rear end noise

I have a 79 ta with a drowl noise coming from the rear end it getts worst making left turns. If it the wheel bearing would it bethe passager side? also what noise does the carrier bearing make?

Generally the carrier won't be affected by turns. Wheel bearings however, will get louder as a load from a turn is applied. Best guess is a wheel bearing.

Thanks for the reply. I jack up the car and had the tire rotating and could hear or feel witch wheel was bad. Is there another way to troubleshoot this problem without changing all the wheel bearing??
