    You guys familiar with how much speed shops charge for a compression test -- a ballpark figure?

    Call a few speedshops, and ask them what they would charge for a "leakdown test" on an LS1.

      I know this post is old...but in case you haven't found out the price yet...I had one done after the fuel system was infected with sugar. Costed $195.50.
