I know this is a long shot, but I am despirate. I have a 1993 Cavalier that I use as a beater. Its got a 2.2L 4-Cylinder. I just put a new head gasket in and I had no trouble doing the repair. However, once I fired the car up for the first time, I smelled a strong gasoline smell. Anyway I found that I had forgotten to connect a fuel line to the fuel rail. (oops, I feel like an idiot) Anyway, I am having ALOT of troube getting the line to connect. I cant seem to the the fuel line into the rail enough to screw the threads in. If I take off the O-Ring I probably could, but I doubt that that is a good idea. Any help, any one know a trick to push the line in further?
