  • Top dash pad

I posted a few days ago asking how hard it is to install one of these dash pads in my firebird. I just wanted to make sure before I buy this that it will be a easy install. I am hoping that all I will have to do is pry my cracked dash pad out and snap the new one in place. Will I have to remove the windshield? or is it really a easy install?

this is the piece I am talking about

    thanks,

Look on the far left and the far right. These lips go underneath the A pillar covers that run between the windshield and the door windows. You have to take them off but they are really easy to do. That just requires a Philips screwdriver. A flathead screwdriver might help you get started taking the dash off but I didn't need it. Mine fell apart. No you don't have to take the windshield out.

Very easy install. Shouldn't take you more than 15 min.
