I was just wondering if it is good to drop a knock sensor. I rebuilt my engine at college and today I got a DTC saying that the knock sensor may be faulty. I remember someone dropping it, maybe 6 feet. I think it is now probably bad. What do you think?

Very possible. Luckily that is not a very expensive part. $25-$30 on the internet. -
Yeah, it's about $30 and I know where it is and how to install a new one so I will probably just go ahead and do it. I have already replaced some other sensors and parts so, hey, why not.1991 Chevy Camaro RS (Is it plum or purple?)
