I looked at my VIN number yesterday - I had never really thought about this before - but my last 5 digits are 00061.

Does that mean that I own 2002 Pontiac Firebird production # 00061? Is there anyway to know what number T/A or WS6 I have?

I think it is pretty cool that I have such an early production # for the last ever model year

You know, they really did not figure out what they were doing until they got to end of production, right?

I would say yours is #61, but probably out of all production 'birds for 2002.

That is kinda what I thought too. Any way to know exactly what # WS6 I have? It's obviously less than 61, probably a lot less

I must say I agree with Rob. Who knows how many kinks they worked out during the model year production?

But then there are also the early Monday morning and later Friday afternoon cars. So once you take it all into consideration you should end up with a pretty decent car.

For digit number 5, what does a P in that place mean...

Just wondering because I have that in mine.

P in the 5th digit is Camaro Sport Coupe & Conv., Thats if your 4th digit is F, Which it should be.

Damn, I guess I must have one of the last LT1's made considering my production sequence# is 222758.

Jay I believe it is the last 6 numbers and not the last 5. Hopefully your 12th digit is a zero also!

Anyone figured who this ASC is or how to contact them?
