Shocks and Springs

When ever I hit a bump on the road while turning, my car tends to swing from left or to the right depending which way I'm turning. Plus, my ride is starting to get a little bit bumpy. I can feel every bump on the road. It's time for some new shocks and springs.

Can anyone recommend me a good pair? I don't want to go all out racing I just need some good soft suspension and I'm also thinking about lowering my car 1 inch.
