It looks like I have to replace my fuel pump on my 94 formula. Since I have to do it anyways I was thinking there might be a better quality pump out there. How much do pumps range in price? Thanks! Any recommendations?

Hey man- I just did mine on my 95 TA. NO FUN. I'm dissapointed at GM's packaging here, and decided to take matters into my own hands- I'm cutting an access panel in the rear axle hump this weekend and fabbing a sheet of aluminum to cover it. It makes it so much easier to access this way, not to mention when you spend 5 hrs R+R on the pump, then find out the next day your gauge is stuck because the float is hung up on the strainer.
Check this out- http://www.worldisround.com/articles/12533/
All you need is a die grinder, a few cut-off bits and some spare sheetmetal (Im using aluminum so it doesn't rust and also painting the cut so it doesn't either.)
This panel is stock on most import hatchbacks, coupes and sedans, and will not cause any chassis rigidity problems, and will not vent vapors into the cabin as long as it is sealed with RTV.
Trust me- I replaced my pump on a lift with air tools and it sucked. This way I can replace my pump with ease next time it fails or I have to upgrade.
Something to think about-
