  • 1987 Camaro

My girlfriend has a 1987 camaro V-6, berlinetta- the question is she hit a deer and messed up the nose pretty bad. I want to buy a new nose for the front, but can only find a berlinetta nose on YearOne but it isn't the same, she has the standard one piece grille and three slices between the grille and hood for the (ram-air) box

If anyone knows where to look i would apreciate it!!

try your local junk yard. People are wrecking f-body's or blowing them up almost every day. If you go to some web page you will just pay way to much and be for at least 3 weeks to get the part, don't forget shipping rates. I always go staight to 'U-Pull-It" for all my body/ interior parts. But I will never get any engine, drivetrain, or suspension parst there. Good luck
      82 camaro x2:
      82 z28 w/ 305 (for now) 4 speed saginaw
      82 berrlinetta with 350 .060 over...3 speed auto

The Z28 is back under the knife, after the transmission, now its the entire engine....will post pics when all finished.

the only thing with wrecked f-body's is that they already have stress cracks and they seem to never loose the cracks and the paint that is on the nose kills the bonding of the new paint. i used a used nose before and it just doesn't seem to stick to the paint
