I'm wondering if it's posible to swap my stock air box base for one of a WS6, since it's a bit higher.... I"m worried about the clearance

While I'm not an expert on LS1s, since all of the aftermarket lids are not specific to just the WS6 or SS and are the same part #, they both have similar hood clearance issues especially on the non WS6 and SS cars, I don't see any reason why it wouldn't.

SOrry if u didn't get it, I know it's not the lid... it's the base.. the botttom part... with in the WS6's has an opening wich is bigger than the ss's and z28'sComment

I got that part...... think about it. if all the lids are the same, they fit either a Z or ss, T/A or WS6, than all parts (lower part of airbox too) should interchange.
