  • cold air?

Hey everybody, I was wondering if it is worth getting cold air induction because some say it might actually rob some power, but that might not be for an f-body, prob. some type of Ford. Also a FIPK, can you have both or would one be better than the other. Thanks

"Rob power"? You've got to be kidding.... colder air, denser air, more fuel can be burned, more power. Applies to ANY engine.

A good cold air intake (CAI) and a good catback exhaust are the two ESSENTIAL first mod's on an LT1. Good for up to 25HP, 3/10's in the 1/4-mile.

CAI, catback and headers are the first 3 "must do" mods on a LT1

From there, go nuts with cam, heads, intake, injectors, throttle body, etc...
