  • California Water Blade, any good ??? >>

I just bought one today. I figured what the heck. Anyways, it is a plastic piece that has a "silicone" blade attached to it. Kind of like a squeegy type of deal. Anyways, I decided to try it. I was skeptical at first because I didn't want any scratches. This thing is bada$$ though. It knocks water off of the car like like theres not tomorrow and leaves it dry. Definately increases your drying times. I am sure theres probably a good reason why I shouldn't be using this, but I don't know, so I figured i'd ask some of the detailing pros on this board. I did only use it to get the majority of the water off in an area, then I dried it with a soft towel. Please let me know what you all think.

It won't scratch your paint as long as you keep it clean, so wipe it off with a wet rag and store it in it's case. I've used one for a few years, too, and it really knocks most of the water off, then you just follow up with a cotton towel and it's dry.
