  • Another Zaino question

    I haven't used Zaino yet, but you guys have convinced me that it is the way to go, so I am about to order some. My question pertains to what look like water spots on the finish of my Z. I think (and hope) that these are in fact spots where water droplets dried and let a bit of residue, and not actually etched into the clearcoat. Does one of the steps of applying Zaino get rid of these spots (assuming they are water spots, I live in the desert so the water is super hard), or do I need to make sure they are gone before I begin application?

    zaino has no solvents. it wont get rid of anything but fill swirl marks. you need to remove all contaminants from your finish before applying zaino so you get show car finish.
    for water spots, try white vinegar and water. wd 40 works also. wont hurt the clear coat. if those fail..you will need to use a clay bar.....follow the instructions to the T;

    after zaino..you wont get water spots . if you do.....a simple wipe down with his z6 will whisk them away.
