  • ws6 rims...lighter than my TAs?

okay...picked up Gunters WS6 rims...can't wait to mount my new tires on there (nitto 555)...anywho, I currently got chrome TA's on them right now with 245 nitto 450 on them...

question is, how much heavier or lighter would the WS6 rims? Tires mounted and all...?

I'll find out myself on Saturday when I get to weigh em side by side...but from just picking up the WS6 by itself...it seems pretty light for it's size.

I noticed my 16" salad shooters were way lighter than my 17" ZR1 wheels (with rubber on both) when I swapped them on last weekend. I've never compare the 2 before.

SLP has a nice comparison about wheel sizes and weights in the their catalog. Includes OEM 16" because they offer them as take-offs. Not sure if it's on their website or not.
