i get to school park my car and go to grab my phone from the cupholder thing, phones not there all i see is my simcard.
some jerk in the 20 seconds i was gone opened my door grabbed my phone took my card out and left geez thats so sad.

I work at a cell phone store. All your sim card is is for the phone company to identify you. It stores all your numbers, text messages and your personal information. If you still have your sim card Nextel shouldn't of deactivated it. All you have to do is buy a new Nextel phone and slide the sim card in. Thats it. You don't even have to call Nextel to activate your phone. That's the beauty of a sim card.

ALWAYS lock your car!!! NEVER trust ANYONE!!

Your phonebook is always stored on the sim card as well as TXT Messages. I have an i90c, and Ive tried this before. So they took out the battery and left you w/ the sim card only? If you ask me, that was pretty considerate of the thief! All you need to do is pop that little sucker in any other Nextel Phone and youre set! Your service, phone book, and text messages remain intact. Are you gonna get the i730?? My brother is selling one I think, im not sure for how much though. Its slightly used, but in good condition, and is much better than the i95cl. Sorry to hear about it though man, that really sucks!

this is exactly why I'm afraid of leaving my car in the parking ramp while we go on a cruise for a week.

I ordered a car cover with steel locking cable. I'm going to try and park in a busy area and lock it up. Wish me luck. Theives suck.

How much for the phone you want? Did that really say $450? The day I spend $450 for a cell phone is the day... well, the day my wife would kick me out of the house!

I've never heard of cell phones that expensive. Why do you guys feel it necessary to spend that much on a telephone? I have an old nikia that my job provides me with for free. I've never even thought that I needed a better one because it works just fine. Are these some kind of custom superphones?

                      What am I missing?

I understand the word obsession. that explains it. I'm not into the gadgets like some are. I like cars, computers, houses.. I have friends into gadgets.

My friend Jeff has a supercharged Nissan Xterra and he is a gadget guy. He has a Compaq Ipaq with a bluetooth GPS antenna and moving map software. It talks to him as he drives and tells him where to turn.

I have a friend who performs tests on cell towers, so he uses a GPS unit w/ moving map software also. That thing even knows where strip clubs are!

He's also got a wireless connection on it. His Ipaq can map out wireless locations. You'd be surprise how easy it is to hack into one of those. most ppl dont set the enption... and most ppl leave the default admin logon set in the firewall router. Idiots.
