Subaru WRX Sti . the evo 8 is quick also .... as far as the talon it depends ive raced stock v. stock and won but all they need is an mbc and they can double the boost and change the outcome of the race cheap, and fast.

      I've got a V6... 5spd, headers, intake, exhaust...

      With this,
I have kept up with a stock GTP...
beat a NA 300zx... A slightly modded Z28 could keep up with the TT300ZX
kept up with a 3000GT SL... Watch out for VR4s...
Got embarrased by a SRT-4, a good driver in a stock Z28 could take it...
GS-T's and GSX's give me trouble, but for a Z28, shouldn't be a problem unless modified...
well, watch out for the obvious RX-7s...
and like he said, EVOs and WRX's are quick... really quick...
1996 Camaro- L36, 5 spd, intake, Pacesetter headers, Flowmaster 80 series

Anyone interested in an Xtant X603 multi-channel amp? Let me know...

        NONE !!!!

If you want to race go to the track,on the street use your head and don't race.

It isn't worth the risk of killing someone.

At the track if you Bracket race you can lose to a New Beetle or win against a dragster,it is YOUR ET that counts.

Heads up vettes,mustangs,RX-7,Supras,WRX sTi,any older musclecar with slicks,Neon SRT 4 etc etc etc.

It is so much more fun and safer at the track, and you can tell week to week how much you are improving.

And I got about 40+ trophies and cash for my efforts,a lot better than tickets and points!!!

When it comes to racing, anybody can beat anybody. I've got a Dodge Omni that I have beaten Z28's with. But I have also have a 500+ HP Bird that has been beaten by some "not to likely to win" oponents. Its anybody's race. If your talking stock for stock - what those guys said.

The correct answer is all of them. The way people drive, you need eyes in the back of your head as well. Daily driving is sheer accident avoidance every minute.
