  • What Should a stock LT1 run in the 1/4?

    Hello,

My little cousin is doing a project for Driver's Ed (long story) about performance of cars. He needs the stock quarter mile time of a 94 LT1 preferably but any LT1 should work. Any input would help thanks!

My 96 LT1 ran 14.0 @ 99mph, but a 94 will proly run like a 14.2 cuz of the less torque and horsepower ratings.
1996 Trans Am:T-tops,graphite leather,16" chrome T/A rims, Nitto's, Descreened MAF, Morosso CAI, hypertech, flowtech cut out, 1LE elbow, Silver BMR tubular SFC's, 160 thermo, limo tint, harwood ws6 hood, !side molding, Stage 2 trans.

Looking for a driver side window.

13.9 with excellent traction and conditions. 14.0-14.2 with a decent launch. This is for all LT1 f-bodies, as the "dual cat" setup actually hasn't proved to gain any horsepower over the single system. I've seen two bone stock 94s in the 13s...one at my track, Sacramento Raceway: 13.99@99, and one on GM High Tech magazine...ran a 13.87@ ??
All LT1s, besides the ram air packaged ones are rated at the same torque, 325.
