Does anyone know if the Corvette gear reduction starter made by Nippendenso (p#1045579) will work on the F-body Lt1? Seems like the hot setup if it works.

Don't know about that one. I have a CVR ProTorque starter that is gear reduction, and can be rotated to clear headers. About $150 from JEG's, but I don't think they show them in the catalog any more.
