99 T/A WS-6
SLP strut tower brace, SLP sub-frame connectors, SLP intake, SLP Loudmouth exhaust, shift kit, SLP suspension system, SLP y-pipe
2004 Mineral Gray Mustang Mach1 (stock, but ordering the SLP Loudmouth)
88 IROC-Z, ZZ430 CRATE MOTOR, Flowmaster exhaust, MOSER 12-bolt with gears, and a few other mods.
I have burn through some tires about seven sets a year and went through many different brands. The best grip and handleing in wet and dry were the Dunlop sport 5000 they lasted the longest better then the Michelin pilot sports. They have a wicked tread design too best deal is on tirerack.com I have them on my 99 z28 convertible, my 02 trans am ram air, and my 92 trans am gta. Can't hurt to look into let me know if you find something better.
Can't go worng with the KD's, that's a wicked tire. Not good if you're going to be driving in the rain though. Try the KDW for that. They even have a KDWS (yes, a snow tire). That's what was on my WS6 when I bought it and I have no complaints about them. I'll be upgrading to the KD's though, because it never sees the rain, let alone the snow.

OK..... Firehawk SZ50EP. The best wet and dry tire out there. Treadwear is awesome, wet performance is stellar and in the dry they rate right up there with the best. IMHO, it is the best all around tire for the street.

I second that. All in favor say I.
2002 Electron Blue Vette, 1SC, FE3/Z51, G92 3.15 gears, 308.9 RWHP 321.7 RWTQ (before any mods), SLP headers, Z06 exhaust, MSD Ignition Wires, AC Delco Iridium Spark Plugs, 160 t-stat, lots of ECM tuning
I had originally planned on getting Firehawks, but availability issues at that time caused me to opt for the BFG KDW. I'm totally satisfied with the BFG's....great wet & dry performer.
I thought I had read that the Firehawk SZ's were being discontinued....?????
