Oh man, I love the S600. I got a story about one, too.
I got to see an S600 last November. It was owned by the owner of a Mercedes-Benz dealership. My friend's brother worked at the dealership and was working on it at the time and he met us for lunch and drove it. We all went outside to look at it and I was amazed, I had no idea Mercedes made a car like that! It turns out he had to get back to work. He told my friend, "Hey, I'll get it sideways for ya." We were like, "Yeah, sure." Sure enough he pulled out to turn onto a main road and gunned it. That car screamed and the wheels just lost all traction and that thing slid sideways and would have done a donut but then he straightened it out. I was amazed.
