if i were you, id go with a set of 3.4 headers and ypipe, nice catback....cai....

go to a junkyard and find yourself a rear out of a v8 car. that will give you limited slip and the disk brake upgrade.....

put some 3:42 or 3:73 gears in your new rear.

do the same suspension mods as you would in a v8 car...and you will be movin....

btw..i ran my stock automatic 3.4 convertible at englishtown and had a best of 16.89. so dont get dissapointed if you run it stock.

u mean to swap out the 3.4 motor to an lt1 motor and keep everythign else stock? i dont need to change the computer?
Swapping is impractical. Buy an Lt1 car.

The programmer can only be used on one car and it is locked to that computer. If youre gonna reprogram, go to: fastchip.com
Ed Wright is pretty good; youll get more than the hypertech program.

i did find a limited slip rear with disc brakes at a close shop, but i dont know what it originaly came out of, id like to know what to tell the guy when i go there about what diff gear to put; my original one or its stock one; so tell me what it might be, its definatly a V8 rear diff just dont know if it is auto or manual.. and im guessing the year model would tell me what diff gear it has... or do they have a # on them?

im guessing if its manual to keep ITs gear on place and if its auto to put my gear in place???

were can i get a used 3.73 gear out of (what is my stock gear??) can a cherokee diff gear be put in place cause i think he has lotsa jeep parts

              Try www.tacreationsusa.com

Ask them for a 93-97 rear from a 6 speed car, or for that matter, any used parts dealer will do. If they don't know what they have or what it came from, run away. You don't want anything else except that. Not from an automatic either. The gears in those won't get the result you want.
