Why does it seem that the price of s/c's has gone up in the past 2 years? I remembered the Vortech s/c for the LT1 used to only be $4500 with the aftercooler. I looked today and they were $5300. Why such a dramatic change? That price seems rediculous if you ask me. Anyone who can tell me why such a price increase?

Don't ever buy direct from a supercharger manufacturer. You will pay much more.
Dealers get a big break on s/c kits. So the best way to buy a s/c is through a dealer.
You can get a complete Pro Charger D-1SC kit w/ intercooler for around $3800 if you look in the right place.

Wow! I didn't know that there was people who dealed s/c's. Shows how much i have looked into it lol. I am gonna look into it more thoroughly now to find the best price i can. Thx for the site!
