Need help with SES light problem

I have a '95 Pontiac Trans Am A4 2.73 with 94000 miles on it. The Service Engine Soon light comes on shortly after starting the car up and sometimes goes back off when the car is idling, but it always comes back on when I get going again. I would pull the code with a OBDII diagnostic computer, but you can't on a '95. Any ideas guys???
