  • NFB: Survey: Who's your employer?

As everyone already knows F-bodys are sweet cars, they are relatively cheap but still expensive cars...especially for all of you who mod your cars...
Just to get a feel for what kinds of people are out there driving F-Bodies...what do you guys(and gals) do for a living?

I'm a network administrator for the Air Force, work some cool projects!
On the weekends I work Bungee Tower at this place called "The Track" out there on the beach... Basically get to jump off a 75 foot tower all day and flirt with all the spring break girls(oh and thats a big plus) awesome part-time job!

Mechanical designer. I work on a CAD all day long. I used to be a machinist, handmills, lathes, grinders, EDM, CNC Mills. Then I went into programming the CNC mills on the CAM side. After many years in the most underappreciated job I have ever seen, I moved into engineering on the CAD side. I've been here for 8 years. wow. I have worked on all kinds of neat jobs from the RFSA assembly (B52 electronics counter measures) to the Cassini satellite in orbit around Jupiter. Here is our web site. www.ems-t.com . This is something I designed from the ground up http://www.emsstg.com/defense/array_illuminator.asp . One of our divisions makes the satellite phones that you may have used. We also make some stuff in the MILSTAR satellite that the army uses for communication both analog and digital. You may have used it too.

No offense but jumping off a tower is like jumping out of a perfectly good airplane.

wow, intresting...so how's the process??? Do GM just come to you and say "hey we need a machine that can weld this to that with a .25 inch gap, make it happen" and you guys make one and charge them out of the bunghole???
