  • got tailight blackouts, not satisfied, any ideas

i got some tailight blackouts for my red 94 formula which already has wings west ground effects, blackout out turn signals, and black decals on the doors, i put them on and i dont really care for the look, they look cheap, maybe if my car was black or dark green i think im takin them back tomorow,

too bad they were only 45 dollars

any mods you can do to the tailights that isnt ricer and looks mean?

Some people install the 98+ honey comb look taillights.

I have a pic of a red one and it looks pretty hot in my opinion.

What's wrong with your taillight blackouts? I think black on red looks tough, not cheap!

Post some pics of her lets see what she looks like with them on. Don't return them just yet!

I'm still 100% satisfied with mine.

to post a pic it needs to be hosted on the web somewhere. You'll either need to develop it and scan it or use a digital camera and upload it. Then find a site to host it for you. Then you link to that site in your post.

You can also attach one picture when you post a new thread or on a reply. You have the attach file option. It has a file size limit though. It won't show the file itself but a link for it like I did and you do not have to host it anywhere.

But you can only do one I think per reply.

When you say the center piece is faded, do you mean like the plate in the middle with the bird on it? I know that some of the birds had a bird in the middle...mine actually came plain black. On my old red 94 v6 I had a fading bird in the middle...I removed it by using some rubbing compound and rubbing it out. It made the bird go away and all that was left was an indentation...cool effect.
