I have a 94 RS and I was racing my friend in his 94 prelude. We were hitting about 110-115. My car was fine that night but in the mourning when I started her up, I had some smoke inside my car, not coming out of my hood but in my interior. She is running fine now but I was wondering what the smoke was from. Anyone have any ideas???

Oh yeh, I smoked has prelude!!!

What did it smell like? Do you have a m5 or a4?

The smoke was from the driver side, pretty much under the steering wheel. It's an m5.

I really doubt it was speed related. Do yo have any aftermarket electronics installed? Radio, alarm?

Yes, Alpine 9807 CD/MP3 player. Never a problem though.

it could have been crap that has collected onto the heater core getting knocked loose and then blowing into the cabin on startup!
