my best friend...a hardcore import guy...sold his civic to by another civic so he can drop a B18C5 (Integra TypeR engine) into it...

well, lastnight he called me and asked about Formulas...I thought he wanted to know cause someone wanted to race him. After a few mintues of talking; he wanted to know performance numbers, he said "Dude, I think I'm going to buy one"

Woooow...I never thought I'd see the day.

Apparently, he loves the way he felt when he drove my TA.

Two weekends ago, when I got my WS6 rims...he had to drive my car cause I was in the company van with the rims. After we installed the rims, I ripped off the t-tops and told him to take it easy (he didn't LoL)...the day was sunny and beautiful...I think that was when it dawned on him that nothing *NOTHING* can replace the feeling of being in a f-body...so he's thinking of buying a 96-97 M6 Formula. He only has 7k to play with...any other suggestions?

It just feels good to know that he realizes that the import scene is nothing more than lil punks usually.

What's more, my little brother (15) is into F-bodies now. He was once a import fan too...he's already looking into autotraders and making plans to purchase one.

Wow...

This is definately a revolution in my books...

That is great.. Tell him to come to the dark side. You are right on about *nothing* feeling better than the drivers seat of an F-body. It rules! When I read the title to the thread, I thought maybe you just saved 15% on your car insurance by switching to Geiko.

ill admit when i was first looking to buy my first car i was into imports, thats what i was around so thats what i knew and loved. my dad grew up building his camaros. It was the 70's when he got his license, him and his two bros built there cars. So naturally he hates imported cars. He said why dont you buy a nice camaro instead of one of those $h!t boxes. So i drove one and i had to buy it. Ive been a camaro/american car guy since. i would only take a few cars over it, and they are all american and are fords.
