    wires problems

    hi everybody

    i am having trouble with the oil pressure sending unit connector- i cant find it and the gage shows all the way to the right all the time. does anyone know where can i find the wires, where do they go?

    also , when the headlights or parking lights are on , the dinging thing doesnt stop, even when the doors ars close.

    any ideas?

    See if this helps. http://shbox.com/1/oil_pressure_sensor.jpg I don't know because I don't know what you drive. If the wire is shorted to ground, it will peg the gauge. Follow the wire and see if it is pinched or melted to metal.

      I would look for a wiring chart for light system and see how the "ding ding" is wired to the lights. Then you could trouble shoot it.

        i cant find it
        i have the haynes repair manual
        i tryed to see where the wire is going but i couldnt

        the car is a 93 trans am
