  • nfb: Since it's tax time,

Thought I would share some trivia............

When NASA first started sending up astronauts, they quickly discovered that ball-point pens would not work in zero gravity.

To combat this problem, NASA scientists spent a decade and $12 million developing a pen that writes in zero gravity, upside down, on almost any surface including glass and at temperatures ranging from below freezing to over 300C.

    The Russians used a pencil.

Enjoy paying your taxes - it's that time again.

    LoL...

that's great...I'm glad to see "your" (I wasn't paying taxes then) money was spent well.

I hope we're wasting tax payers money on useless crap like that now-a-days. What's wrong with a pencil???

I have one of those NASA developed pens that writes underwater and through grease, upside down, etc... It's great!!! I only paid $12.95 for mine though.
