I was just curious because most chassis dyno's are only setup to measure 1,200 rwhp.

There are eddy-current type engine dynamometers that can measure up to 3,000 fwhp, but they are very, very expensive to use. I looked into having my motor done on one.

Just curious if they actually measured the motor or just hypothesized using cam specs, headflow numbers, cubic inches, compression ratio, etc..

I can definitely recommend a cam for you. Just need to know how big of a stall you can live with?

A 239/245 cam sounds righteous, and has a nasty top end but you need at least a 3000 stall on the street.

              239/245 duration @ .050" / .577",.576" w/ 1.6 RR's / 112lsa
I believe this a shelf grind from Comp Cams.

To run this cam you will need headers, at least 3.73's, computer reprogramming, moderate head porting, and 30# injectors.

Thru a T56, good head porting, and a good tune, 460 rwhp is not out of the question. Trust me this baby screams for a hydraulic cam and has a wicked idle!!

This was the last cam in my 97 WS6 before the molesting began.

We played with about 3 cams within a 1 1/2 month period so unfortunately I don't have any video of my car running with that cam.

But here is an almost identical cam as far as duration and lift but this cam has a little less overlap and therefore a little less lope.

You define your version of streetable and I will suggest an appropriate cam. Sound good?

well streetable is about 400hp decent lump but still be able to do long hauls. Im going to be getting the heads port matched and the chip done and 4.11 rear gears.

It sounds like you would be happy with something like this:

                            Comp Cams TN224XL Camshaft 224/230 duration @ .050", .536"/.544" lift with 1.6 rockers, 112lsa.

This cam will provide plenty of vacuum, low end power, and street manners but still has a decent lope to it.

about what would be the hp abouts and is there any mods what should be done to it to help it.

4.10's, head porting you mentioned, computer reprogramming, and headers. Your stock injectors would be marginal but might be close to 100% duty cycle.

While these mods are not absolutely neccessary, they will all compliment each other and make your run much better.
