    Moderators ->Chat Room Possibility

    Would it be possible to set up a chat room. Just so it is easier to talk to everyboyd. I dont know how people would be able to chat if they dont have AOL, or AIM so it is just a thought to make things a little easier around here. Im not saying it is hard but maybe just more one on one contact with other people. to solve all of our car issues faster.

    I'm not a moderator on this site, but on another site we use jIRC(j for java) on the site or you can download mIRC from there site and use it that way. You can also set it up so the mods here are Ops(Operators) in the chat. Another site I am on we just use MSN chat. I would prefer jIRC/mIRC over anything.

        the MSN Chat is just a MSN group that has a chat room also.

        The registration is a one time payment of US$20.00 for mIRC. Which is for every member(member pays for it). Most members probably will use jIRC unless they wanna pay for the program.

        jIRC is run by J-Pilot and there site is http://www.jpilot.com/
        One time registration fee for jIRC applet is only $U.S 49.99 which is only for the site, so I don't think the site has a income. so maybe some members would like to donate some money to pay for it. You can do more the mIRC over jIRC.

              I know I'm diggin up an old post, but can we have a chat room????

              I have to go to another F-Body site to have a chat and it kind of sucks, you know.

                I brought this one up years ago, we tried it out. There wasn't enough interest to keep it running...


                mIRC is a good choice, better than java I believe.
