Window Streaks on a 99 WS6 >>>

My buddy just picked up a black 99 WS6, TIGHT ride! I must say, even w/ my 04 STI, I'm still a bit jealous. I miss my f-body. Anyways, we took it for a cruise today. We had the windows half open. When we went to close them, there were these Godawful horizontal lines all the way across the window, where the window was open halfway. Wherever you move the window to, when you roll it back up, there is a line there. How do we fix this? I took some rubbing alcohol and rubbed it in his window trim (black pieces where the window goes up and down in) I tried to get down as far as possible. When I was doing this, the white towel was like JET black, must be a lot of crap in there. I really don't know how to clean this... Is there a product, or a good method for doing this? His car is completely dry, so i know it's not water... Anyone have any helpful advice please?

Is it dressing that the dealer put on the window seals on the doors?

try rubbing a thin coating of rubbing alcohol on the windows..then raising and lowering them a few times... each time..wipe the residue off.......

zaino glass polish can help make the windows streak free also.

It surely is a nasty little piece Knightfire..... I love it though.... I absolutely love my buddies 99 WS6 though. Thats one mean ride too! I definately think mine out handles his car hands down though. But, that is due to the AWD and it being smaller....It's too bad I can't just afford both of them, damn that'd be fun
