Removing 100# will increase your trap speed by a bit under 1MPH, and decrease your ET by a little over 1/10th second.

Put a roll bar in and you won't have to worry about the rear seat at all.... no way to even crawl back there

      Really.

In truth, I had to lose my Vette as a daily driver when my son was born. Think of it as a family decision....... 3 or 4 people don't fit well in two seats. It's a tough ride to share.

Someone could always say that Vettes don't have back seats, and ask why did they bother putting them in the f-body? Then again, others could ask that if you wanted two seats, why didn't you get a Vette?

      And the endless debate continues..................
I'd still personally rather have a Trans Am or a Formula over a Corvette any day. Everyone has a vette. EVERYONE! It's played out. There's nothing even special about them anymore. I see at least 20 each day. That's no joke either. I literally must see about 20 every day. When i go out to my girlfriends house and i have to go on the parkway, i can't even count how many i see. If a ZO6 and a Trans Am were the same price, i'd still take the Trans Am.

Vette and F-Body are not the same driving experience.

The F-Body gives very very good bang for the buck and handles pretty decently.

The vette feels better and handles better, plus at 150+ i prefer the feel of the vette,it doesn't feel nervous or light at those speeds.

Great that you like your F-Body but the Vette will always have its place and be king at GM.

There are so many vettes on the road because they are pretty great cars!

If that's the case then how come i see so many mustangs? I know a few people who have gotten rid of their mustangs due to perpetual mechanical problems. By the way, where the hell are you going over 150MPH? I'm actually one of the few teenagers that obey the speed limit............unless of course i'm putting a ricer in their place.

Because Mustangs are inexpensive to purchase and relatively cheap to make faster!!

The 2 track that I race at are 150 and 180 miles away,at 5 A.M. Saturday or Sunday there is no traffic on the Highway and as soon as there starts to be I slow down to near sane speeds.

I race at the track NEVER on the street!!

All the mods in the world can't change the fact that it's a mustang. They wouldn't be so bad if people didn't think that owning a mustang of any kind means that it automatically runs 10's. I think that's why people hate ricers too.....well that and the wings and fart cannons. I've noticed that mustang owners tend to think they can beat anything. Some guy was acting all cocky because he was able to keep up with my dads Viper on the highway. The only problem is that there was a ton of traffic and nowhere to go. That's the only reason he was anywhere near us.
