Hey Craig, like the sig. She's a beauty! That's exactly how my T/A looked like when she was stock - same rims and everything! In fact, I still got my old rims in my basement

its time consuming. gm pays 2.6 man hrs for it. but you have to be real careful to connect everthing back up right. and it helps to lay the intake on with two people...that way you can drop it straight down.

whats really bad..is all that oil thats running down all over everything under there. and you have a vacuum leak now..and its going to get worse. a shop will do it for under 300.00 bucks.. but if i were you ..id scout around...some of the smaller places with experienced dudes will do it for 175.00 or there abouts.

There are a few short cuts that save time off the GM estimate. Not removing the TB from the intake, not removing the injectors and fuel rail cut down the time to about an hour and a half. It's not a hard fix for those that are mechanically inclined.

alas, mechincal skills i have, a shop and space i do not. Sadly i live in a apartment how ****** is that?! Well i am going to scout around for those cheaper shops i just sold my rims from a old car so i am going to blow it on this one to make sure everything is running solid. Also its at 60k should i change the water pump now to save my opti from getting killed or should i just wait til this one goes?!

Thanks DJ Taso...I try to keep it with the "stock appearing" look
I love the look of your T/A also...first time I saw it, thought it was a '97 because it just looks so new and awesome.

Wouldn't be that bad of an idea. Cover your opti really well before unbolting the water pump.

Could the intake leak be the cause of low rpm stumble? I've heard alot of guys asking that question about stumble including myself.
