We can only hope they bring it back. As long as it's a 2 door, rear wheel drive with a V8 option.
69 Z28 with JL8 factory 4 wheel disc brakes, crossram, transistor ignition, radio delete, heater delete - being restored
    70 SS 396 L78 documented, #'s matching
    2000 SS Camaro daily beater

      not for me!

V8 front drive monte carlo??? that sounds kind of silly to me. That blue camaro concept on there ties nicely to the older camaro's but the first two pictures the orange and red ones dont look so hot to me! And to share the platform with the new caddy?? to me that car is too small to replace the f body. One of the things i like so much about the camaro is the size its a pretty big car even though the interior doesnt show it. Quirks, catylitic converter and driveline humps, and useless backseats taken into account i think it would be difficult to improve upon the latest f body. Hopefully they wont make an attempt and fail.

Well, one thing to consider... if they do make an attempt to bring it back and "fail" the value of our cars, especially the latest generation ones will increase... just look at what happened with the 1996 Impala as soon as they introduced that bland car the Impala is now.

Yea i like the blue one better, but it has to come with better rims. They look like the old rally rims...

Good point about the Impalas. They turned a luxury performance car into a grocery hauling, front drive, under-powered family car.
I think all the new ones should be shredded!

                ...

That article is so outdated it's not even funny!! Danno02SS over at the 5th gen board had the latest scoop. A design survey that was just last month. Signs are pointing to a Camaro return in a few years....Here's some info quoted from Danno..
