  • Best price for T/A foglight replacement?

Hey all, a foglight on my 98 T/A just gave out. I plan on buying a right and left at the same time. In your experience, who has the best prices for replacements? Any tips on replacing it, I haven't looked to see how tricky it is yet. Thanks for any info, K

i think i got a set from pep boys for about $9 a peice but i can't remember exactly.

and changing them out was really a lot easier than it should have been. you probably are gonna have to put it up on jacks but once you do thats the hard part. i unfortunately decided to follow the instructions in the hayes manual i had bought, and i guess they had added something in 98 that hayes didn't bother telling you...

there are two little flaps on either side, under the nose.. you just unscrew two screws and the flap comes down, its exactly enough space to reach your hand up there, lift the fog light off of its housing, you have to kind of twist it and finagle it to turn it around and come out the flap hole, but then you just unscrew the old bulb and put the new one in. probably take 15 minutes max.

7 bucks for the halogen replacement bulb.

It's been awhile since I last replaced one, but there are 3 or 4 body clips holding the bottom of the front bumper cover to the car.

Remove them and then you will have access to the back of the fog light bracket. Remove the 2 bolts holding the fog light bracket to make removing the bulb easier.

Then you will be able to easily unplug the wiring connector to the bulb, remove the bulb, and replace.

Just did it Saturday. Yep, it's 3 body push in/pull out clips, took me 15 minutes.
