  • TB Bypass question

now as far as i understand we bypass the TB so the air doesnt heat up too much in the TB and creates a little LOSS in throttle responce after the car been driven and warmed up...right?

well i didnt see how it was difficult UNLESS i did it WRONG there is two tubes to the lower part of the TB that are hooked on the Y axis; lower left to upper left and lower right to upper right, i dunno, i didnt have to find any adapters or anything to do this, i hooked the lower left to the lower right and upper left to upper right
i took pic if anyone can tell me that i did it wrong so i correct it asap... now ill try to put the pic of it done....

    oh itsa 95 camaro V6

That looks good, but the top hose is now unnecessary. You can remove it if you like, and just leave the nipples on the TB stick out empty.

If you do that, it's probably a good idea to cap them off just to keep gunk out.

wow thats great, i mean it was so easy i thought i probbaly did somthing wrong, like if that WASNT the TB hehe

i have another quick question, there is this hose from some kind of pump also sticking into the air intake AFTER the air filter here is a pic of it, i think its recycling uncombusted gas maybe, but THAT IS also hot air right? i had it blocked for a while till i realized (wait a second its coming from a PUMP i dont wanna ruin the pump maybe it would send incorrect signals to the pcm) so i was wondering what can i do with it? leave it sticking out and cap the opening after the air filter... or can i block it

is it or is it not also a source of hot air into the intake?

          thanx
