when i am backin up in my car and i turn the wheel a little bit i hear a thumping noise that almost shakes my car a little. When you go foward it is present but not as loud.. The thing is it only happens when the wheel is turned and not at all when it is strait..any ideas what it could be would be appreciated..thanx

I would check the lug nuts.........lol. Actually, it's probably one of your wheel bearings. -

i found the prolblem the dumb guy who owned the car before me put the wrong fluid in the differential....but its all fixed know...thanks for ur guys help..1998 v-6 Firebird, t-tops...
