  • What color are the stock shocks...

    Just curious because I have some loud orange color shocks... Like I said just curious...

          I think the deCarbon shocks were very good quality for an original equipment shock. Mine were still in good shape at 60K miles when I replaced them. For a while, you could get the deCarbons "takeoff" shocks that SLP replaced when they built Firehawk and SS conversions, and they were an excellent bargain at $25 a set. I wouldn't write them off as "not all that great".

          Not sure if the ones used in the V6's are the same as the ones used in the V8's. I would suspect they are not as "firm".
